Our goal is to raise money for individuals and their families undergoing the treatments and care associated with a cancer diagnosis. Financial assistance for travel, lodging, food, child care, home repairs, as well as integrative therapies like acupuncture, counseling, and nutrition to improve wellness during traditional treatments.

We raised $48,639 for vital patient support services and integrative medicine at cancer care centers in Oregon.

Due to Covid, the usual format was changed from the shotgun start to foursome tee times. The dinner portion was also canceled to minimize exposure. While we missed the big group gathering that always made this day so much fun, the changes gave us more time with each participant; time to really connect with each other after being separated for over a year.

Just as we remember Nick, we also remember loved ones gone…family among our DFMCF community.

Thanks to the many supporters of the Dom Diddy Classic, we raised a net of

$56,366.62

Participants traveled from near and far to join us on a cool, slightly windy, almost rainy, supposed to thunder but didn’t, perfect Dom Diddy day. Our angels were looking out for us and the entire field finished their rounds in record time. Despite the schedule change we again had sold our participation. Dr. Walter Urba spoke to guest about cancer survivorship, research, and the need for patient financial support that all contributors played such an important role in helping. Live auction items included a VIP Rose Bowl college football experience and hotel stay, and 3 nights at the cherished RiverHouse Inn at Mckenzie Riverside Cottages, plus an autographed Dan Fouts football!

100% of our total will be granted to the programs we support.

The 1st Annual Dom Diddy Classic golf tournament and auction was a success! Total net funds raised $31,254.16. For a first time event, we sold out participation and have confirmed participants chomping at the bit for next year! 

Tokatee Golf Club was the majestic setting where Dan King, PGA Golf Professional and course director, brought out an actual shotgun to start the scramble right! 

A sold out field of golfers, filled with family and friends, old and new, reported this event to be among their favorites and look forward to returning! Thank you to the entire Dom Diddy Classic community! 

The silent auction began online months prior to the event day, and participants were then able to make their bids before golfing, and then again after play at the BBQ reception. A surprise live auction took place and included signed footballs by NFL Hall of Fame quarterback Dan Fouts. Tickets to the Oregon/Oregon State Football Civil War game, golf packages at a number of premier golf venues in Oregon and California, NFL and MLB game tickets, a ski mountain season pass, and specialty item packages, as well as works of art, were among the auction items generously donated to the event.

We could not have been happier about the outcome and look forward to next year! 

We had a successful live and silent auction at the second annual Dave and Dan Celebrity Golf Tournament. Sunday night, guests and celebrities were treated to an exuberant display of auctioneer prowess by none other than former San Diego Charger, and current radio announcer, Hank Bauer! Our goals of $10,000 were surpassed as we raised $16,200.00.

A portion of this total will be donated to the OHSU Patient Support Services Program to help alleviate some financial burden on patients and families battling cancer! We are excited to help the Knight Cancer Challenge set forth by Phil and Penny Knight, as they strive to reach the $500 million mark. As of August 19, 2014 its total raised is at $421,113,506. Over $8,000 was raised at the Dave and Dan Celebrity Golf Tournament silent auction. A special evening welcoming celebrities and top sponsors was held at a family vineyard in Aloha, Oregon. This casual buffett dinner was host to a silent auction where sports memorabilia, golf items and packages, wine tour packages were auctions off for the benefit of the Dominic Fouts Memorial Cancer Fund. 100% of the bids were then donated to the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute's Patient Support Services Program in Dominic Fouts' name.
