2016 Dom Diddy Classic

There is just something about a bagpiper serenading golfers to make an already special day that much more special!

The 2016 Dom Diddy Classic has come and gone. An overflow field gathered at Tokatee Golf Club. A couple golfers walked, four surfed the course on golf boards, and the rest rode comfortably in carts... well, except for a flat tire at the turn and a breakdown near the 11th, we all survived the warm day with smiles and laughs before celebrating the occasion over beers, margaritas, and pulled pork at the reception.

Speaker, and breast cancer survivor, Lindsay Bozanich, with her heartfelt recounting of meeting Nick Fouts in a bar on Halloween, brought tears to many in attendance. It was a truly moving moment not soon forgotten.

Dr. Andrew Weinberg, of the Robert W. Franz Cancer Research Center, Earle A. Chiles Research Institute at Providence shared breakthroughs and hope for the future of cancer treatments including immunotherapy.

The net funds raised is above $30,000+, with details still being determined at this early date (Gross raised is $44,175.00). We could not be more thankful for all who participated and contributed in time, effort, heavy lifting, financially, and sheer attendance.

Goals and expectations are high for 2017!!
